Privacy Policy

INEOLOGIC is a drowned-tower you explore floor by floor. On floor 78 there is a working retro game shop, ISIEC, run by the clerk robot ISIEC-07. Most of the tower asks nothing of you at all — you can wander every floor without ever telling us who you are. You only hand over any real information when you choose to sign in or buy something from the shop. Here is exactly what happens when you do.

What we collect

Just wandering the tower? Almost nothing. We don't ask you to register to explore, play the arcade cabinet, or use the sound test.

Things change only when you take an action that needs it:

• Signing in with Google. If you use "Sign in with Google" we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google, plus a token that lets us keep you signed in. We store these to run your account (your character name, sprite, and order history live here).
• Buying from the shop. At checkout we collect the contact email you type for your receipt and the shipping name and address we need to send you a physical game. You can check out as a guest with just an email — no Google account required.
• Paying. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure fields and go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

Only to do the thing you asked for: keep you signed in, remember your character, take payment, ship your order, and email you when it's on the way. We are not building a profile of you and we don't run ads.

Cookies

Unlike a purely anonymous site, we do use one small cookie — a session cookie — once you sign in, so the tower can remember it's still you between pages. It holds a random session id, not your personal details, and it goes away when your session ends. If you never sign in, you never get one.

Do we share it with anyone?

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone. We do share the minimum necessary with a few service providers that make the shop actually work:

• Google — for "Sign in with Google" and, if it's switched on for this deployment, anonymous Google Analytics that tells us which floors get visited and roughly where visitors are in the world.
• Stripe — our payment processor. Your card and the shipping name/address for the order are handled by Stripe under their privacy policy.
• Our email provider — so we can send you the one "your order has shipped" message with its tracking number.

We may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it. That's it.

Where your data lives

Account and order records are kept in the shop's own database for as long as you have an account and as long as we need them for orders, receipts, and refunds. Ask us and we'll delete your account and its data.

Children

The shop isn't aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
